A sequel to “Smells Like Unemployment” in the Unemployment series I’ve been doing with Steve Rickz.
Steve bluffs his way into a week of pure laziness. He acts like he has a job so he won’t lose his UNemployment benefits. I knew something wasn’t right when I saw the box of donuts he was supposed to take to his first day of work, stacked up alongside the trash.
I confronted him and he pulled the classic Steve move: gaslighting. I had enough! I called the new business he claimed to be hired by and of course, no one has heard of him. He lied.
It was time for Steve to up his game, or he’s going to be thrown out on the street!
