Set in a vibrant Spanish context, the movie tells the story of love and sexual vice between Carmen, a captivating, nymphomaniac, and fiercely independent Romani woman, and Don José, an initially dutiful soldier. Captivated and quickly obsessed by Carmen s provocative charm, José sacrifices everything to be with her. However, Carmen s transgressive spirit and refusal to be possessed lead her into the arms of others, particularly the charismatic bullfighter Escamillo, who has much in common with the bull...
